The front window at the Michigan Avenue Louis Vuitton store was busted Saturday morning and a thief or thieves then made off with various items such as purses and alsother luxury accessories from the shop's display cases, police said.
The burglar or burglars took several items — purses, bags and other goods — from the front display cases, according to police News Affairs Ofcr. John Mirabelli. An estimate of your value of the items taken was unavailable, police said,
According to the Louis Vuitton website, women's wallets do range from approximately $500 to about $1,000, while clutches and handbags with the distinctive "LV" stamp may cost from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars.
